A GP Level Disaster Management Committee Planning program was organized, supported by OSDMA, Bhubaneswar. The program was attended by Sri Ashok Kumar Ratha, District Project Coordinator, OSDMA, the Sarpanch of Kendupali GP, Ward Members, AWW, and ANM. The primary objective of the program was to develop the Gram Panchayat Disaster Management Plan (GPDMP) and Village Disaster Management Plan (VDMP) for the Marada, Hanumanta, and Kendupalli villages. The training focused on rescue operations for people and animals during disasters such as cyclones, earthquakes, snake bites, and other emergencies, along with the roles and responsibilities of GPDMP and VDMP in disaster management.
