A program featuring social, cultural, and sports activities was held on 10th March 2024 at Sikrida GP/Village, Nuagaon, with the support of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Government of India. The event welcomed enthusiastic participation from Women Self-Help Group (WSHG) members and youth from the community. The objective of the program was to promote and preserve traditional arts, culture, and sports, including volleyball, puchi, and cycle racing. The participants embraced the opportunity to reconnect with their roots, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. Winners were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, bringing joy and encouragement to the attendees. The event also highlighted the concern over the decline of traditional practices due to the rise of digital technology and social media. The slogan, "Old is Gold," served as a reminder of the value and significance of preserving our heritage for future generations. This program left participants with a sense of pride and joy, fostering unity and appreciation for the richness of their cultural legacy.
